Understanding the Role

As a Primary Linguist CAT III (Russian), your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality interpretation, transcription, and translation services in support of Core One's IC program. You'll work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver accurate and culturally sensitive language solutions. Your expertise will enable seamless communication between parties, facilitating collaboration and understanding.

To excel in this role, you'll need:

1. Familiarity with local culture and customs: The ability to operate within the local populace is crucial for success.

2. Advanced linguistic skills: Proficiency in Russian language, both spoken and written, at Level 3 of Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR).

3. Experience in interpretation and translation: Prior experience translating from Russian into English is a significant advantage.

4. In-depth knowledge of Russian culture: Native familiarity with the region is preferred, but extensive knowledge will be considered.

5. Security clearance: A TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance is required for this position.
